  • COVID-19 – Delaware’s Response and Data & Safety

Layered prevention strategies — like staying up to date on vaccines and wearing masks — can help prevent severe illness and reduce the potential for strain on the healthcare system. Wear a mask with the best fit, protection, and comfort for you. You can choose to wear a mask or face covering in any public setting, including in grocery stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, and on public transportation.

In long-term care facilities and other health care settings such as doctor’s offices or hospitals, you may be required to wear one.

Wearing a cloth face covering does not eliminate the need to physically distance yourself from others. Individuals with general questions about coronavirus can call 2-1-1 or text your ZIP code to 898-211 for deaf and hard of hearing. Information, data, and guidance are available at Delaware’s COVID-19 Response (link opens in new tab). Specific mask / face covering requirements for the public and and all ages are available at Guidance for Face Coverings (link opens in new tab).
